Bringing Virtual Reality to the Web

WebVR is an open specification that makes it possible to experience VR in your browser. The goal is to make it easier for everyone to get into VR experiences, no matter what device you have.

How do I experience WebVR?

You need two things to experience WebVR: a headset and a compatible browser. Your mobile phone has sensors to detect how your smartphone is oriented. This information is used to allow you to look around in Virtual Reality using your phone. The orientation sensors aren’t working properly in Chrome on Android. This is the gist of the fix: In Chrome on Android, type in the address bar about:flags or chrome://flags/#enable-vr-shell

Click the ‘enable’ link for the flag.

1)       Scroll down to “Enable experimental Web Platform features” and click “Enable”.

2)       WebVR Allow web applications to acces experimental Virtual Reality "Enabled"
